Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2014 is an Examination conducted by Anna University of Technology Chennai on behalf of Tamilnadu government for the sake of candidates who wish to pursue their higher studies in the field of M.E/M.Tech/M.B.A/M.Arch/M.Plan Degree Programmes.

Anna University has invited application for the TANET 2014 Examination for the academic year of 2014-2015 for various Master programs as mentioned above.

TANCET 2014 Eligibility:

Candidate who has a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Architecture or Plan or Master in Science is eligible to apply online for TANCET 2014 Examination. i.e. B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/M.Sc

TANCET 2014 Application Fees:

The application fees for all the three higher studies such as, M.Tech/M.B.A/M.E are common and hence candidates has to pay only Rs. 500/- towards TANCET 2014 Examination Application fees and in case of SC/ST candidates have to pay only Rs. 250/- towards TANCET 2014 Examination Fees.

TANCET 2014 Important dates:

• Starting date of Registration through online or In-person: 01/02/2014
• Closing date of Registration through online or In-Person: 18/02/2014
• Last date for reception of filled application at Chennai Center: 20/02/2014

TANCET 2014 Date and Time of Entrance Test:

• For MCA Program à Examination date: 22/03/2014 at 10 am to 12 pm
• For M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan à Examination Date: 23/02/2014 at 10 am to 12 pm.
• For M.B.A à Examination date: 22/03/2014 at 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
